You know you are getting old when...
You still have cassette tapes and your old heavy duty waterproof Sony Walkman. The other day, Little Dude B stumbled across this find and was mesmerized. "Hey Mom, what is this thing?" As I quickly explained "this" gadget, he quickly made the leap forward to the 21st Century. He then pointed out the obvious...that it is like a dinosaur MP3 player or IPod. BINGO!
Well, the Little Dudes received inexpensive MP3 players for their Birthday. It is a beautiful thing as I no longer have to hear the "Phineas and Ferb" soundtrack blaring from their CD player or the bickering of which song to play over and over. As time goes on, I am sure we will have to upgrade to the snazzier versions, but, it has already caused them to "tune out" on more than one occasion.

Probably going to see alot more of this in the future.

I am putting off the MP3 as long as i can!! Taryn has the boom box in her room and it can play CD's. Hmmm, maybe I will give her my Ipod, and then I can upgrade to the one that plays radio stations too!! Oh heck yes! LOL! Kiss those babies for me! I love and miss you guys so much!
