Monday to Saturday

Monday=Snow Day

Our week began with quite a snowfall. Close to 5" blanketed the DC area which provided a two day reprieve from school along with a delayed opening on Wednesday. The kids were all about bundling up and diving into snow. After about 1.5. hours, the novelty wore off as the munchkins were complaining of frozen toes and fingers. Once Tuesday arrived and school was cancelled, I could not interest the Moloko siblings to venture outside to play in the snow. Little Man B quickly commented that he was ready for summer. I wholeheartedly agreed.

Saturday=Temps in 70's

Saturday morning, we awoke to temps in the low 60's. By mid-afternoon, the kids were scootering around the neighborhood and loving the breeze and pleasant temps. Little Man B declared it "Summer." I quickly had to explain that by the end of the week, the temps would be cold again and that he would have to put his shorts back in the drawer and pull his coat back out of the closet. He was disappointed, but, he along with the rest of the family, spent the rest of the weekend basking in the beautiful weather.
